Policies & Procedures

•PAYMENTS: All payments are non-refundable, except if after the first class you chose to withdraw your child. in which case you will receive a full refund minus a $35 administration fee.

•Tuition payments per semester are non-refundable after the second class.

•Requests for withdrawal must be received in writing within 48 hours of the first class.

•Please allow up to three weeks to receive any refund.

•You will be able to make up 2 classes in the subsequent semester if your child misses classes for any reason.

•Schedule all makeups per semester before the end of the semester.

We are pleased that your child is going to participate in Upper Manhattan Forest Kids. For many children outdoor learning is of great value. However, being outdoors come with some risk and we take our responsibility and your child’s safety seriously. Please read our Policies & Procedures carefully so that you can make the right decision about your child’s participation. Our classes are all conducted in NYC public parks. While participating in our classes you are expected to follow all NYC Parks Department rules and regulations. You and you alone are responsible for your choice to have your child participate in Upper Manhattan Forest Kids programs and for your child’s safety and well-being at all times prior to, during and after your child’s participation in the program.
